上博简《诗论》的出现令人耳目一新,与传统可见文献的说《诗》方式相比自有一番别样。对于《诗》学传统的意义之一就在于其说《诗》方式上的重大突破,有着不同于传统的说《诗》的角度、方式和特点,形成了具有一定的逻辑性、系统性、有构架的、自有的语言体系的说《诗》系统,为后世说《诗》、用《诗》和习《诗》提供了导向和启发。在《诗论》中不仅展现了道德修养、礼仪、情感的关系,而且体现了《诗论》作者对其关联的理性思考和生命体验,其深刻意义就在于后者。
