2004年8月12日,由国家新闻出版总署主办的新闻出版“外向型”发展工作研讨会在乌鲁木齐市召开。本次研讨会对出版行业如何走出国门,弘扬中华文化,让世界了解中国,为我国创造良好的国际氛围进行了深入的探讨。“外向型”发展研讨会代表来自全国各新闻出版管理部门、出版集团及国际图书贸易总公司等40余家单位。自治区党委副书记努尔·白克力、自治区副主席库热西·买合苏提、自治区党委副秘书长景海燕、自治区人民政府副秘书长阿日甫及新疆新闻出版局领导出席会议。自治区党委副书记努尔·白克力向与会代表介绍了新疆政治、经济、社会发展情况。他说,新闻出版行业是重要的舆论阵地,是外宣、外交、文化事业的重要组成部分。新闻出版“走出去”是为了宣传自己,影响别人,希望与会的兄弟省区与新疆新闻出版界大力合作,宣传新疆。同时,他还勉励新疆新闻出版界要通过此次研讨会开拓新思路、研究新问题,为宣传新疆做出贡献。国家新闻出版总署副署长于永湛出席会议并讲话。他说,我国出版物的进口数额远多于出口数额,从
