浙江省委、省政府最近作出决定：凡省级领导下访去基层,必须聘请律师为随行顾问,商量解决涉法信访问题。从今年9月开始,浙江省有关部门已选聘了22名职业律师当省领导下访时的随行人员。这22名律师来自杭州10多家律师事务所,执业都在5年以上,有较高的政治素质和较强的处理实际问题的能力。
Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government recently made a decision that whenever provincial-level leaders visit the grassroots, they must hire a lawyer as an accompanying counselor to discuss and resolve the issue of letters and visits involving law. Starting from September this year, relevant departments in Zhejiang Province have recruited 22 career lawyers while accompanying provincial leaders for petitions. These 22 lawyers come from more than 10 law firms in Hangzhou and have practiced for more than five years, with high political quality and strong ability to handle practical problems.
