1998年,党中央、国务院作出了通过建立国有企业再就业中心保障下岗职工基本生活、促进再就业并向市场就业机制过渡的重大决策。三年多以来,我省在省委、省政府和各级党委政府的高度重视领导下,紧密结合福建实际,始终坚持以促进再就业、加快向市场就业机制过渡为主的指导思想,采取了一系列有效政策措施,在确保了下岗职工基本生活的同时,加大了政策扶持引导和促进再就业工作力度,有力地推动了下岗职工出中心、并轨步伐。至去年年底,全省九个设区的市已有六个市关闭了中心,累计进中心的下岗职工98%已进入市场就业或失业登记领取失业救济金,预计今年上半年可基本上实现全省关
In 1998, the Party Central Committee and the State Council made major decisions on establishing a reemployment center for state-owned enterprises to guarantee the basic livelihood of laid-off workers and promote reemployment and the transition to a market-based employment mechanism.
