细胞衰老是指细胞脱离细胞周期并不可逆地丧失增殖能力后进入的一种相对稳定的状态,是正常细胞的必然归宿。肿瘤细胞往往具有衰老障碍而表现出无限增殖的能力。在多种衰老细胞中,某些抑癌基因的过表达会引起细胞进入衰老程序,细胞绕过衰老途径是其永生化及癌变的必要条件,因而细胞复制性衰老是抑制肿瘤的一种可能机制。这样对衰老细胞的研究将为肿瘤的预防和治疗方法提供新的策略。
Cell aging refers to the cells from the cell cycle and irreversibly lose the ability to proliferate into a relatively stable state, is the inevitable end of normal cells. Tumor cells often have the ability to exhibit immortalization and exhibit unlimited proliferation. In a variety of senescent cells, the overexpression of some tumor suppressor genes will cause cells to enter the senescence process, and cell bypassing the senescence pathway is a necessary condition for their immortalization and carcinogenesis. Thus, senescence-induced cell replication is a possible mechanism of tumor suppression . Such research on senescent cells will provide a new strategy for the prevention and treatment of tumors.
