现阶段,我国还处于社会主义初级阶段,集中力量搞社会主义现代化建设,大力发展社会生产力,建立社会主义市场经济体制,其目的是为了增强国家的综合国力,提高人民的生活水平。有人把全心全意为人民服务同建立社会主义市场经济体制对立起来,认为要建立市场经济体制,就要改变全心全意为人民服务的宗旨,实际上,有的党员在行动上已不坚持为人民服务了。这种认识既误解了社会主义市场经济体制,更误解了全心全意为人民服务的宗旨。全心全意为人民服务作为党的宗旨是不能变的,如果变了共产党的性质就要起根本的变化。 全心全意为人民服务作为党的宗旨是始
At this stage, our country is still in the primary stage of socialism, concentrating our efforts on the socialist modernization drive, vigorously developing social productive forces and establishing a socialist market economic system. Its purpose is to enhance the overall national strength of the country and improve people’s living standard. Some people oppose serving the people wholeheartedly with the establishment of a socialist market economic system. They believe that to establish a market economic structure, we must change our tenet of serving the people wholeheartedly. In fact, some Party members no longer insist on serving their people in their actions. This kind of understanding not only misunderstood the socialist market economic system, but also misunderstood the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly.
