1934年春,蒋介石发动第五次“围剿”。由于王明“左”倾机会主义错误指挥,使红军遭受了重大的伤亡,中央苏区面临十分危急的局面。为挽救革命,党中央和中革军委开始酝酿中央主力红军跳出国民党军队的包围圈,挺进敌后,以争取反“围剿”战争胜利的策略,并着手各项准备工作。福建人民在这重要的历史关头,无私奉献,勇于牺牲,从补充兵员、提供粮食、保证供给各个方面,为长征做了大量的准备工作。
In the spring of 1934, Chiang Kai-shek launched the fifth “encirclement and suppression campaign.” Because of the wrong command of Wang Ming’s “Left” opportunism, the Red Army suffered heavy casualties, and the Central Soviet Area was facing a very critical situation. In order to save the revolution, the party Central Committee and the Central Military Commission began to deliberately brew the Central Government’s Red Army out of the siege of the Kuomintang troops and advance its enemy line in order to fight for the victory of the anti-encirclement and suppression campaign and to proceed with the preparatory work. At this important historical juncture, the people of Fujian have sacrificed their selfless dedication and sacrificed themselves. They have done a great deal of preparatory work for the Long March from supplementing troops, providing food and ensuring supply in all aspects.
