The new curriculum standard of mathematics in junior high school is the basic driving force of the teaching reform in our country. The proposal of the new curriculum standard is helpful to improve the overall quality of students and promote the quality education in our country. The new curriculum standard focuses on cultivating students’ abilities to apply their knowledge, and requires students to improve their mathematical awareness under the premise of consolidating the foundation, and to improve their innovative and practical spirit through cultivating their emotional attitudes. Junior high school mathematics new curriculum standards for teachers teaching philosophy, teaching methods and teaching models have put forward higher requirements.
