作为在高等院校设计院工作的一名建筑师,除埋头设计外,我对理论问题有相当的偏好,这种偏好又带有很强的实用主义色彩。尤其对那些既有精妙设计,又有睿智思想的建筑师很是崇拜,这当然包括设计作品和理论专著文章。而且每每喜欢将作品与理论文章对照着来读,字里行间仿佛看到一个个作品跃然纸上,而实际工程又仿佛在叙述着作者的思想,这种读法令我了解了许多建筑师。然而不难发现,当今真正能做到“立建筑也立言”的建筑师还是屈指可数的,布正伟先生算是其中之一。读他的书看他的设计作品,对我来讲是一种思想和行为共鸣的过程。阅读间布先生激昂的状态时时如影像般浮现出来,
As an architect working in the Design Institute of Universities and Colleges, I have quite a preference for the theoretical issues except for the design of the head. This preference is very pragmatic. Especially for architects who have both sophisticated and intelligent mindsets, which of course include design work and theoretical monographs. And I often like to compare my works with theoretical articles. It seems that I saw works of art vividly printed in lines, and actual works seem to describe the author's thoughts.
