2000年11月,“2001国际志愿者年”(IVY)的揭幕仪式在联合国总部纽约举行。那一年,国际志愿者年的四大目标被定为:充分认识志愿贡献、积极支持志愿活动、建立志愿网络体系和倡导弘扬志愿精神。2011年恰逢国际志愿者年十周年(IVY+10)。十年之间,各国政府和国际组织层面的志愿者项目成就颇丰,而转眼看看身为项目主体和执行者的国际义工的生活,也随着时间而发展出多样的形态,有着各自的方式。
In November 2000, the inauguration of “2001 International Year of Volunteers” (IVY) took place in New York, the United Nations headquarters. That year, the four major goals of the International Year of Volunteers were defined as fully understanding volunteer contributions, actively supporting volunteer activities, establishing a voluntary network system and advocating the promotion of volunteerism. 2011 coincides with the tenth anniversary of the International Volunteer Year (IVY + 10). Over the past 10 years, volunteer projects at the level of governments and international organizations have made remarkable achievements. Looking at the lives of international volunteers who are the mainstay and executor of projects, they have also developed various forms over time with their own the way.
