雪铁龙汽车公司的创始人安德烈·雪铁龙1878年2月5日出生在法国首都巴黎。20岁时,雪铁龙进入巴黎综合工科学院学习工艺基础知识,这为他日后经营汽车制造公司创造了条件。1908年,雪铁龙受摩尔斯汽车公司之邀为该公司重新组织生产管理体系。他打破了摩尔斯汽车公司原来的小作坊式生产模式,使该公司的汽车年产量从125辆提高到了1200辆,这在当时是十分了不起的进步。
André Citroen, the founder of Citroën, was born on February 5, 1878 in the French capital, Paris. At the age of 20, Citroen entered the Paris Institute of Technology to learn the basics of craftsmanship, which set the stage for his future car-manufacturing company. In 1908, Citroen was invited by Morse Motor Corporation to reorganize its production management system for the company. He broke the Morse car company’s original small workshop-based production model, the company’s annual car production from 125 to 1200, which was a very remarkable improvement at the time.
