安迪·沃霍说过:“你仔细想想看,百货商店就是一个博物馆。”仔细想想,他说的有道理。而中国的当代艺术,在经历了对历史政治、社会关系、艺术潮流的追索后,也将重拾对材质、对“物”本身的兴趣。无论是重返对工艺的青睐,还是转向对材料的实验,以“物”为核心的探索创作,都将让中国当代艺术的气质为之一变。不少艺术家和设计师开始思考这样一个问题(而这也恰好是当代艺术中的一个重要命题):在什么样的条件下,一件人造物品可以被定义成为艺术品?我们到底出于何种理由,为再普通不过的事物赋予特殊的艺术价值?藏
Andy Warhol said: “You think about it, the department store is a museum. ” Think about it, he said makes sense. China’s contemporary art, after experiencing recourse to historical politics, social relations and artistic trends, will also regain its interest in the material and the “things” themselves. Whether it is to return to the favor of the craft, or to experiment on the material, exploration and creation centered on “things ” will make the temperament of Chinese contemporary art one of the changes. Many artists and designers are beginning to think about such a problem (and this happens to be an important proposition in contemporary art): Under what conditions can a man-made object be defined as a work of art? Why, for ordinary things but give special artistic value?
