RoHS directive from July 1, 2006 began. In this article, the author discusses the development of wires and cables that do not contain six hazardous substances that are RoHS-limited. In addition, analytical methods such as inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP) and fluorescent X-ray (XRF) are used to determine the presence of heavy metals in products to be employed and these techniques are also used in quality management systems.
