Han Shan, a tangled poet in the Tang Dynasty, has a poor reputation in the history of Chinese mainstream literature. However, it has become a hot spot in the western communication of Chinese classical poetry since the 20th century. Up to now, there have been more than thirty kinds of English translations of all kinds of poems written by Hanshan Poetry. Among them, the most popular and influential version in the United States is the 24 Hanshan poems written by ecological poet Gary Snyder.
