本刊今年第3期卷首发表了丛文同志的《“成功体育”的呼唤》一文后,在学校体育界引起了较大的反响。许多读者来信、来电问:“成功体育”到底是什么?为此,我们决定开设一个[为“成功体育”奠基]的小栏目,一万面邀请一些对这一问题感兴趣的专家、学者,就有关“成功体育”的目标、内容与方法等,发表自己的观点和意见;另一方面也热忱欢迎广大读者来稿,谈自己的认识和看法,其目的在于进一步探索学校体育到底为什么而教、教什么和怎么教的问题。《体育教学中“不成功”的种种表现及其原因》一文,从反面揭示了对这一问题进行探索的必要性,我们以此作为这一专题研究的开场白。
