The Department of Foreign Languages of Tsinghua University held “Globalization and Literary Research Forum” in September 2003 in Beijing. Over 10 experts and scholars from well-known universities, scientific research and press and publication units in Beijing and other places attended the seminar. This high-level forum is the Department’s second symposium on a series of academic activities held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the faculty and the grant of PhD degrees in English language and literature.
