Graphene fibers (GFs) are a novel kind of carbonaceous fiber assembled from graphene or graphene oxide (GO).Wet-spinning of GO liquid crystal dope followed by chemical reduction produces GFs continuously.By addition of polymer and inorganic nanoparticles to the spinning dope, continuous nacre-mimetic fibers are achieved, which are strong, flexible, electrically conductive, and chemical-resistant.
