Background The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress plays a vital role in mediating ischemic heart cell death.However,the role of ER stress in salubrinal therapy for isehemie heart failure (HF) has not been studied, The aim of the current study is to investigate the anti-ER stress effects of salubrinal, a selective eIF2a dephosphorylation inhibitor, on heart failure rats and its possible mechanisms.
