  Abstracts:Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) commonly called Purple cornflower,is a genus of nine species of herbaceous plants in the Family Asteraceae.Echinacea have been used as traditional medicines and reported rich of antioxidants.The objective of this study is to improve antioxidant properties and cytotoxicity in Echinacea by far infrared ray (FIR) treatment.FIR treatment in echinaeea induced increased of total phenolic and flavonoid contents,DPPH scavenging activity.
