With the construction of rail transit,the metropolitan fringe has been unlimited expansion,urban fringe has become the representative of the rapid urbanization area.Development of the region depends on urban rail transit.In this article,authors choose the Baitahe station of Shenyang metro line 2 as the reach object.The research depends on the method of questionnaires,interviews,cognitive maps.Through these method we get the data such as travel time taken,travel method and convenient or not.We use SPSS to analyze the data.We found several problems through this research.Firstly,the location of the subway station is remote.The transfer distance is long to most people.Secondly,the urban public transport network is deficient.Some rail transportation developed regions can achieve seamless transfer.But in this area,the tram station is 240m far away from the subway station.Meanwhile,the transit system in this region is weak,bus routes and bus stops have not been adjusted since the running of the subway.It makes the distance from the bus tops to subway station is too long.This has a direct impact on the accessibility of the subway station.Thirdly,it lack of scrutiny in pedestrian environment design.Through the survey we found that there were problems in the design of pedestrian route,intersection and landscape.It is not convenient for the residents to get to subway station.Finally,the design of residential quarters did not take the subway into account.Residential quarters should set several quarters close to the station,reducing the walking distance to the subway.
