High-loading molybdenum carbide/ carbon composites with adjustable particle size were prepared from resorcinol/phloroglucinol reaction systems accompanied by the in-situ carburization.The molybdenum carbide nanoparticles are well dispersed on the carbon matrix.By changing the ligand environment,the molybdenum carbide structures could be easily transformed between MoC and Mo2C,at the same time,the particle size could be regulated accordingly.
