　　In recent year, optically active gels and magnetic gels have received substantial interest because of their unique structure, properties and significant application.However, there is no research focus on optically active, magnetic gels.The paper reports the first preparation of unique composite gels demonstrating both optical activity and magnetic responsivity (the gels are denoted as OAMGs).
