MERS-CoV)是2012年于中东地区首先发现的一种新型冠状病毒,与严重急性呼吸道综合征冠状病毒(SARS-CoV)同属于β冠状病毒.MERS病人在临床上表现出与SARS非常相似的症状,如发热,咳嗽,呼吸急促等,致死率目前超过40％,远高于10年前SARS病毒流行期间10％的致死率.
