Since 2000,sporadic imported cases of dengue fever were documented almost every year in Yunnan Province,China.Unexpectedly,a large-scale outbreak of dengue virus (DENV) infection occurred with 1538 documented cases in this region from August to December in 2013,.In the current study,81 serum samples were collected from dengue patients residing in Xishuangbanna,the southernmost prefecture of the Yunnan province,and 23 from patients in Dehong,the westernmost prefecture of the Yunnan province.
