The evidence supporting the association of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) gene insertion/deletion (I/D)polymorphism and the susceptibility to CAD across other populations remains debatable.In this study,the association between the ACE I/D polymorphism and the development of severe stenosis was determined among Filipinos who have undergone coronary angiography in St.Lukes Medical Center,Philippines.
