  Benzotriazoles were wildly employed as ultraviolet adsorber in polymeric materials to prevent yellowing and light-induced degradation and improve their stability[1].But the recent researchs reported that some benzotriazoles are persistent, bioaccumulative and toxicity[2,3].2-(3,5-Di-Tert-butyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)benzotriazole (UV-320, CAS#:3846-71-7) is classified as a Class I Specified Chemical Substance in Japan and the import of the molded plastic parts which are intentionally added this compound has been banned since 2007.However, the determination method of benzotriazoles in plastics have been scarcely investigated.
