In this talk,we consider the automorphism group of the affine three-space endowed with the natural topology coming from its structure of infinite-dimensional algebraic variety(in the sense of Shafarevich). We will prove that the subgroup of tame automorphisms is not closed in this topology. For this,we will construct explicit families of tame automorphisms of bounded degrees, which degenerate to wild automorphisms.Joint work with Eric Edo.
