Objective In the present study,we investigated the effects of α-Lipoic acid (LA) in the antioxidant system and energy metabolism in H2O2-injured HepG2 cells.Methods HepG2 cells pretreated with/without 100 μM LA for 96 h,were incubated with 800 μM H2O2 for 4 h.Cellular ROS levels,cell viability and the activities of several enzyme involving in cellular antioxidant systems were evaluated.
