Nowadays over nine genus, ten species in Trichoderma, Gliocladium, Chaetomium, Bacillus., Burkhoderia,Streptomyces, Pseudomonas, Pantoea, Enterobacter, Macrobacterium, etc.have been used or tested for the control of maize diseases.To our knowledge, there are 14 bacteria and 17 fungal species and one actinomyces species are used in the biocontrol of maize diseases, in which 13 biocontrol bacterial products has been commercialized, and more than fifty biopesticides or bioferyilizers are Trichoderma-based.Of those biocontrol products, a wide range of T22-based products are largely developed and applied for thebiocontrol of maize diseases worldwide.
