The binding of drugs with protein has a great influence not only upon the distribution of the drags in the body but also upon their patterns of metabolism and excretion.Morin,a flavonoid compotmd,is the main active component of some Chinese herbal medicines.It has been shown in various biological and pharmacological activities,including antiinflammatory,antioxidant,anticancer.In this paper,the interaction of morin with bovine serum albumin (BSA) in physiological buffer solution (pH=7.4) was studied by fluorescence,UV/vis absorption and resonance light scattering (RLS) spectroscopy.The experimental results showed that there was a strong fluorescence quenching reaction of morin to BSA.
