A new thermo-mechanical treatment consisting of pre-aging, pre-stretching, and re-aging was used to improve mechanical properties of 7093 Al alloys casting by ourselves.Hardness testing, ensile testing, XRD, OM and TEM were used to research the effect of new thermo-mechanical treatment on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the 7093 Al alloys. After the combination of pre-aging at 120 ℃ for 30min, pre-stretching with 4% gage length and re-aging at 120 ℃ for 13 h, the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the alloy were 665 and 631 Mpa, respectively, the elongation was about 12.3%.
