The eutrophication of lakes in China is more and more serious in recent years.Carbon steel as the common material of hydraulic structure,the change of corrosion behavior in polluted lakes shall not be ignored.In this paper,the effect of microbes (algae and microbe) on the corrosion behavior of carbon steel in eutrophic lakes was studied.A3 steel was the investigated object,researched by weight loss method,electrochemical techniques (corrosion potential and polarization curve),scanning electronic microscope and infra-red sepectrometry.
