Plant hormones are key regulators of seed development and physiological and genetic studies have shown that various hormones including auxin, cytokinin, gibberellin, and brassinosteroidsare involved in the regulation of seed development. To study the molecular mechanism and role of hormonal regulation during rice early seed development, theexpression profile of hormone-metabolism and signaling related genes at developing rice embryo and endosperm were analyzed genome-wide.
