ODS ferrite/martensite steel is considered to be the ideal material for the first wall of ITER,and its nanoscale Y-Ti-O precipitation can provide excellent high temperature performance.At present,Mechanical Alloying(MA)and Spark Plasma Sintering(SPS)/Hot Isostatic Pressing(HIP)is the mainly method to manufacture ODS steel,but the process is complex,expensive,easy be polluted,and difficult to manufacture large parts.Smelting method may solve these problems.In this paper,CLAM steel with two different Y content was prepared by vacuum induction furnace(VIM).
