At present,therapeutical effect of man-made joint replacement is better and better,but the prosthesis long-term stability always puzzles people.According to every patients special case,the customized prosthesis is designed,which can advance the matching of prosthesis with bone and long-term stability better.In order to achieve the best matching of prosthesis with medullary cavity,first,patients accurate data are gained before prosthesis design,then 3D solid model of approachable true femur is reestablished.Based on medical digital image communication criterion DICOM3.0,CT and CAD techniques,this study brings forward a new means for establishing accurate geometric structure and 3D solid models of individual hip joint and femur of the patient.It is very significant foraccurately reestablishing the 3D solid model of human femur in computer for customizing the hip joint prosthesis.
