Botrytis cinerea is able to attack over 200 plant species worldwide and causes grey mould rot in mature or senescent tissues of dicotyledonous hosts.Actually, this fungal pathogen is more destructive on flesh fruits, resulting in a serious decay during postharvest periods.Reactive oxygen species (ROS) have been proved to be involved in mediating pathogenicity of fungal pathogens.
