With the rapid development of highways in China,low visibility disaster has become the main reason that restricts the function of highways and leads to frequent occurrence of traffic accidents.Based on the basic theory of disaster system,this thesis creates the assessment model of low visibility disaster risk on highways and successfully constructs an integrate risk spatial distribution map by assessing the integrate risk of low visibility disaster on highways from the view of vulnerability of hazard bearing body and hazard of disaster causing factor.The research conducted in this thesis is of great application importance for the low visibility disaster prevention and reduction on highways in China.
