　　Insecticides are one of main tools to protect crops from the damage of pests in agriculture.and also bring several negative effects on the environment.Thus,there is an on-going need for the discovery and development of new eco-friendly insecticides with more favourable environmental and toxicological profiles.In this paper,we predict and evaluate the ecological safety of three types of insecticides acting on specific target using an empirical method.The sequence alignments for 269 species and structural comparisons were carried out so as to search the relationships between the ecotoxicity and toxicity of organophosphorus,carbamate and cholinesterase insecticides.The advantages and limitation of the method are also discussed.
