In order to evaluate the effect of Tetrandrine (TET) on the anticancer efficacy of cisplatin, dry powder inhahtion of TET (DPI-TET) was prepared.The evaluation of DPI was performed using two types of index including physicochemical properties (morphology, particle size and distribution, hygroscopicity, flowability) and aerosolisation performances (fine particles fraction and emitted dose).DPI was formed by micronized TET and carrier to obtain desired properties.The enhancing mechanism of chemotherapeutic drug in vitro was approached using human lung adenocarcinoma cell lines A549 and drug resistant cell lines A549/DDP.
