Land use sustainability issue has been one of the most sophisticated problems and yet it is also one of the most important political alternatives to cope with the conflict between preservation and development.For watershed reservoir area,it is even harder to justify between and within the different stakeholder interests of the scarce land and water resources.This research aims at the open strategy to demonstrate the application of geospatial technology to implement the traditional land use analysis into a visualized GIS platform.The stakeholder from each party can justify the coefficient weighting factor through easily access web service and adopt a mutual possible land use policy toward the final goal of water resources preservation for watershed reservoir area.Remotely sensed image information as well as ground investigation and surveying were conducted in this project area thoroughly.
