  We present a pendulum mode impacting on rigid walls under external periodic excitation and impulse perturbation.The impulsive perturbation is produced by the rigid baffle located at the mid-way point between the walls and its length is less than the pendulum, which leads the impacting mode to the piecewise-nonlinear nonlinear system.The continuity of the trajectories is broken by not only the walls but also the rigid baffle.
