Retinal degeneration is a leading cause of blindness.Our Laboratory developed 3 types natural occurring retinal degeneration models in mouse and rat.one mouse model (retinal degeneration, fast, rdf) is caused by pde6b gene mutation and the clinical phenotype was similar to rdl mouse model.In multi-electrodc array (MEA) recording, the typical light-evoked field potentialwas not recorded in rdf mouse.
