Introduction: Majority microbiota and host immune cells are located to a lower part of the gastrointestinal tract.Axenic animals make possible to study an influence of separated members of microbiota and their possible role in protection of the host health against enteric infections.Methods:Hysterectomy-derived germ-free piglets were colonized with Lactobacillus amylovorus (LA), Lactobacillus mucosae (LM) or E.coli Nissle 1917 (ECN) four hours after delivery.
