We here report experimental results on effects of magnetic field on the urea synthesis from NH3 and CO2 in a glass-bead or magnetic-bar fixed bed, under negative corona electron-discharge at ambience. The conversion of CO2 and yields of urea rise with increasing magnetic-field strength. The conversion of CO2 reached 85.23% with a molar flow ratio of n(NH3)/n(CO2) of 2.5 and the discharge frequency of 10.2 kHz on the magnetic-bar fixed bed, while on the glass-bead fixed bed the CO2 conversion is 12.76% in the same conditions.
