The cytokines and growth factors excreted by bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) consist the microenvironment for hematopoiesis, and also regulate central and peripheral nervous system. The dissolvable molecules excreted by BMSCs play a key role in inducing the Neural Stem cells (NSCs) differentiate into high proportional neurons. The morphogenesis and differentiation of neurons and glial cells could be induced by cell signals such as neurotransmitter, neurotrophic factors and growth factors through different signal-transduction pathways.Extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK1/2),038 Mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPKs) and c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase (JNK) are three main signal-transduction pathways in eukaryotic cells and was generally expressed in central nervous system (CNS).
