To seek genes regulated following prenatal exposure to a MRI magnetic field exposure,we first examined the effects of prenatal exposure to a 1.5T magnetic resonance image (MRI) magnetic field for 7 days(gestation dayl2-day 18,10 min/day) on the rats performance in the Morris water maze.At 2 month of age,male rats showed impaired "reference memory".The numbers that exposed animals crossed over the target area were less than that of the control group.No evident deficit performance was detected in one-month and five-month groups.Then we used microarray technology to compare hippocampal gene expression in 2 month male rats and control groups.
