In this study,a proto-oncogene and suppressor-tumor gene DNA microarray was utilized to analyze gene expression patterns in one primary cervical carcinoma.Total 11 genes (3.4%) showing consistently upregulated or downregulated in DNA microarray (324 proto-oncogene and suppressor-tumor gene) were screened.Seven genes showed downregulated and 4 genes showed upregulated.In downregulated genes,the Homo sapiens bladder cancer related protein gene (BLACP) was a novel oncogene related tumorigenesis.In order to investigate structure and function of BLACP gene in human cervical carcinoma,recombinant plasmid expressing BLACP cDNA in eukaryotic cell was constructed and transfected into human cervical carcinoma cell line HeLa.The cell clones,which contained the recombinant plasmid,were selected by G418 and tested by PCR and RNA dot blot.
