Conservative surgery has the goal to do radical cure of cancer and also to give a good cosmetic result in order to improve the quality of life and to reduce the local recurrences.Also important is to reduce the number of surgical procedures.Using breast US not only as a diagnostic technique, including biopsies procedures, but also for stage and guide surgery allows an accurate stage of disease, and also allows to plan correctly conservative surgery in one step, reduces the resection of the healthy tissue, improves the cosmetic results and reduces the incidence of recurrences.
