　　P239, a recombinant HEV capsid protein encoding aa368-606 of HEV ORF2, could self-assemble into particle through its dimeric form.The particle had the ability to bind and enter several cell lines and inhibited HEV infection of these cells, supported the assumption that p239 could be a probe for the HEV receptor.Further study showed that the interaction between p239 and the cells could be blocked by six p239-specific mAbs.
