Aims: To investigate the in vitro and in vivo anti-tumor effect of Pulsatilla saponins,the major components extracted from Pulsatilla chinensis (Bunge) Regel, and its underlying mechanisms.Methods: Human tumor cells were treated with Pulsatilla saponins, cell viability was assessed by MTT assay; cell cycle and apoptosiss were assessed by flow cytometry; cleaved-caspase3, LC3, PI3k, p-PI3k, Akt, and p-Akt were measured by Western Blot assay.
